Terms of Service

Last updated: April 11, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Debugly, you agree to these terms. If you are using Debugly on behalf of a company or team, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. What Debugly provides

Debugly is a software-as-a-service tool that connects to your GitHub repository, indexes your codebase, and uses AI to help your team report and triage bugs. We provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Debugly.
  • One free workspace per person. Creating multiple free accounts to circumvent limits is not permitted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Debugly to index or analyse code you do not have the right to access.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from Debugly beyond normal use.
  • Use Debugly in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Resell or sublicense access to Debugly without our written permission.

5. Your data and code

You own your code and your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your codebase or the issues you create. By connecting your repository, you grant us a limited licence to index and process your code solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect any repository to Debugly. Do not connect repositories containing secrets, credentials, or data you are not authorised to share with a third-party AI service.

6. Billing and payments

  • The free plan is free forever within its limits (1 project, 1 user, 10 issues/month).
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your paid period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.

8. AI-generated content

The root cause analysis, issue titles, and descriptions generated by Debugly are AI-generated suggestions. They may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before acting on it or publishing it as a GitHub issue. We make no warranty about the accuracy of AI analysis.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Debugly is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or costs of substitute services. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time from your billing settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Debugly after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
